I provide continuous support throughout your labor for you, and any other support people present. I help you incorporate techniques that ease pain during labor. I also offer resources and informational support throughout your entire experience. Making sure your voice is heard, and you feel empowered. A TENS unit is available for clients who have their doctors approval.
Pregnancy is a journey that everybody deserves support through. After the interview, if you feel that I am the Doula for you, we will schedule 2 prenatal visits. The prenatal visits are each 2 hours long. During that time we will discuss birth plans you may have, your concerns for labor, and discuss the postpartum period.
The first postpartum visit occurs 2-3 days after your baby is born. The second postpartum visit happens 2 weeks after birth. During these visits we can discuss your birth experience, and I can help you process it. I help support you with breastfeeding and offer guidance if needed. While you welcome your baby into the world, I will offer guidance and support.
Sliding Scale of $800-$1000.
You choose where within the scale you can afford. This allows me to support birthing people who cannot afford doula services.
The sibling doula provides 24/7 on-call availability to care for your older child(ren) during your labor and birth.
The sibling doula will come to your home or place of birth where your older child(ren) may be, and provide full care for the child(ren) during your labor. This includes preparing meals, light house cleaning, and maintaining a safe and fun environment for your child(ren). Since the sibling doula will be with your child(ren) during your labor and birth, she is trained to be able to answer questions that may arise from your children thoughtfully.
The sibling doula will stay with your child in the immediate postpartum period until arrangements have been made others to further care for your child(ren), or until agreed upon.
This includes 1-2 pre-labor meetings for me to get to know the child(ren) better.
I offer a sliding scale for sibling doula work for $800-$1000.
